The meeting of major global leaders will have as central topics the tackling of the pandemic and the planet’s climate situation. On the agenda on Brazil’s side are issues like health care, technology, and environment, the Brazilian Foreign Ministry reported.

After the G20 meeting, Bolsonaro’s engagements in Italy include a trip to Padua province, where he should receive the title of honorary citizen of the comune of Anguillara Veneta, followed by a lunch offered by the city Mayor Alessandra Buoso. The region is also considered the place of origin of the Brazilian president’s family, from where his great-grandfather is believed to have emigrated to Brazil.

On Tuesday (2), Bolsonaro is expected to go to Pistoia province, where he is to attend a ceremony in memory of the Brazilian soldiers who fought for the Brazilian Armed Forces during the Second World War. The ceremony will take place at the Brazilian Military Votive Monument.

After this engagement, Bolsonaro will return to Brazil, where he should arrive in the early hours of Wednesday (Nov. 3).
