COVID-19: Brazil’s case tally rises to 5.67 mi

The deaths caused by the pandemic of the novel coronavirus have reached 162,628. In 24 hours,  231 deaths were reported.

The figures can be found in the daily report published by the Health ministry on Monday evening (Nov. 9). The update is made with the data on deaths and cases gathered by state health secretariats countrywide.

The number of people infected with the new coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic has totaled 5,675,032, after the 10,917 new positive diagnoses for the disease registered from Sunday to Monday were computed.

This time, the ministry declared, the number of cases being monitored and recovered patients were prevented from being tallied due to technical difficulties.
