George Morgan aka The Beach: "This song started a few years ago in a small apartment in London,
Playing some melancholy chords on my acoustic guitar the words ‘Cali Cali fornia’ fell out of my mouth and made me feel something, I didn’t know what it meant at the time, but it made me feel invincible. So for me, it is about being hopeful and longing for something more in life. It’s more than a place, it’s a state of mind, inspiration, the first thing you think about when you wake up, and the last thing before you go to sleep. It brings a sense of purpose and gives you the confidence and self-belief to go out and chase your dream, no matter how much adversity you’re faced with."

George Morgan aka The Beach, é o vocalista e conta que escreveu a letra da nossa Cali Dreams num pequeno apartamento em Londres. "Tocando alguns acordes melancólicos no meu violão, as palavras cali cali fornia saíram da minha boca e me fizeram sentir algo. Eu não sabia o que isso significava na época, mas me fez sentir invencível.Então, para mim, é sobre ter esperança e desejar algo mais na vida. É mais do que um lugar, é um estado de espírito, inspiração, a primeira coisa em que você pensa ao acordar e a última antes de dormir. Traz um senso de propósito e dá a você a confiança e a autoconfiança para sair e perseguir seu sonho, não importa quantas adversidades você enfrente".
